Poets, Selected Poems, & Afterwords, 2002–2022

Windfall: A Journal of Poetry of Place published two issues a year from 2002 to 2022 for a total of 40 issues. Over those twenty years, Windfall published 968 poems written by 344 poets. About a quarter of the poets appeared in Windfall once or twice, and several poets appeared in more than half or nearly half of the issues—including Pepper Trail, Barbara Drake, Bette Lynch Husted, Eric le Fatte, Charles Goodrich, and Gary Lark.

Every issue featured cover artwork by Sharon Bronzan, reproduced in black and white. Links to the full-color image of some of her artwork are provided below. Every issue also featured an essay by the editors, Bill Siverly and Michael McDowell, about some aspect of "poetry of place." All twenty of those essays are also linked for each issue. A few poems in some of the issues are linked to the poet's name.
