Text that appears in this art project

The surrealist sign in the Kitchen
This came from Raven Black ("The birds are my friends . . ."), who has opened it to free use.
The quoted song lyrics in the tea interlude in the Entry Hall
© 2001 by Echo's Children. This quote is from the song "Brown Gal" off their album "A Dancing World." Reprinted by permission.
As far as I am concerned, "A Dancing World" is the unofficial album of my island. It ties into what I am doing here many different ways, not to mention being very beautiful. At the time of this writing, "Common Things" (so wonderfully evocative, and so perfectly appropriate) and "Part Of Who We Are" are uppermost in my mind, and the album is playing in the background at this very moment.

Inspiration

Much technical help and many artistic ideas, discussions of ambience, useful links and thematic seeds were contributed by the other members of the Archipelago. You know who you are. Thanks.
