Internet Explorer 7.0


Microsoft has released the newest version of Internet Explorer, IE 7. You can read about some of the improvements and learn how to obtain IE 7 at Microsoft's Website.

Although Microsoft made many security and usability improvements in IE 7, they forgot one important item ---- the Read Mail Icon on the Toolbar! Here's how to get it back.

  1. With IE 7 open, click the Tools icon on the Toolbar, point to Toolbars, then Customize.
  2. In the Customize Toolbar box, first click on the Home icon on the right, then click on the Read Mail icon on the left. Click the Add button.
  3. Click Close.
You should now have a Read Mail icon on your Toolbar. Clicking it will open your default email program.
