- I thought this series of photos was cute enough to share. They're of our mare "Tuff N Nice" and her daughter "Skip N Nice". The filly was only 2 months old and her first trip out to the pasture in May.
A LITTLE ABOUT US, THE RANCH & OUR HORSES!!
Hi, I'm Carol and I will be your hostess as you tour our ranch web site. Mike (my husband) and I proudly own and operate the Quarter Moon Ranch. Our ranch was established in 1975. We are located in the beautiful green state of Oregon, in the great Northwest area of the USA. Our little ranch is nestled in a green hilly area with beautiful views all around us. It rains a lot here, but we don't mind.....it keeps it green. Because it rains a lot, we have an indoor arena so we're able to ride the year around. We love all horses but we promote AQHA, APHA & PtHA horses. We're only breeding a few outside mares now and are retired from showing. We have 5 AQHA horses at the present time which include our 19 year old stallion "Pima's Eternal Star", our lovely show mare "Tuff N Nice" and her daughter "Skip N Nice". We also have a retired polo horse, called "Clyde". He's an AQHA gelding that I use out on the trails and for lessons. He's so well broke anyone can ride him. And last but not least we have a retired AQHA rope horse named "Sally", who belongs to our daughter Tami. She trail rides her and pampers her. We'll show you pictures of the horses and the ranch. We'll also show you pictures of the people's horses that are boarding here, hope you enjoy them all. We'll show you some of the links to our cyber friends ranch's and also just some favorite links and photos. Please go through the ranch site and let us know what you think.
We have many breeds of quality broodmares, broke geldings, mares, and foals available from everywhere. If you see anything of interest please let us know, or if you're looking for something specific maybe we can help you find what it is.
