to the Pittock Mansion for the week 08/01/13 to 08/07/13.  Species
neither seen nor heard the previous week are in ALL CAPS.

We did the walk only 3 days this week.  This is quite possibly the
worst (i.e., lowest diversity) week I've ever recorded--in any season.
Construction noise at 3 sites along the walk, including the Mansion 
itself, is definitely a factor.  None of my walks this week were on 
the weekend, when the birding has generally been much better.

found this week): Vaux's Swift, Hutton's Vireo, Violet-green Swallow,
Bewick's Wren, Black-throated Gray Warbler, Western Tanager, Black-
headed Grosbeak, Purple Finch, Lesser Goldfinch, American Goldfinch.
