*NORTHERN GOSHAWK would be a new bird for the dogwalk, if I was 
sure that that was what it was.  Large raptor, long tail, relatively
short, broad wings, somewhat pointed, flying with steady wingbeats
and a "flick of the wrist".

In the neighborhood but not found on dogwalk:  ACCIPITER sp. (COHA?),
RED-SHOULDERED HAWK, GLAUCOUS-WINGED GULL

Misses (birds found at least 3 days during previous 2 weeks but not
found this week):  Swainson's Thrush, White-crowned Sparrow
