This course is only a guide. It is the Bible that is your text. The Scriptures guide you to Christ, and in Him only are the answers.
The first disciples were not scholars, and all people learn at different rates. The objective is a proper foundation of solid learning to carefully move the student closer to Jesus.
The greater the investment, the greater the return. If hours of labor are spent on a lesson, more will be realized than if only minutes.
Every blank to fill in and every verse represented are nuggets of transferable truths that, after learning yourself, can be taught to someone else. Apply yourself as though preparing to teach a friend.
The blank spaces may have a clear answer to fill in or only your related thought.
Discipleship is the goal, the commission of Jesus, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,..”

The chapter and verse format are as follows:
Matthew 28:19 would be the 28th chapter and the 19th verse of the book of Matthew. Familiarize yourself, if necessary, with the list of the books of the Bible in your table of contents.
Memory verses throughout this course, when buried within your heart, will be a tool God will use to help you in your walk of obedience with Jesus.
In the chapters of this course are verses and passages to look up. Sometimes there is a passage given followed by one or two verses in parentheses that contain the heart of the answer. The passage can be read and then the specified verse reviewed to find the answer.

If you are unclear of the general life story of Jesus, read through the Gospel of Mark before beginning Lesson One. You will have a better understanding of the verses in this study.
The construction of these thirteen lessons was through using the New International Version (NIV). If you use another version please note the initials of the version imediately after your name when you submit your answers.
Take a week to finish each lesson. Hurrying through will not help you learn faster. Meditating on each truth will.
And pray. Pray that God will open your heart and speak to you through the power of His Word.
