Maushard stood in the streets of Portland on February 15, 2003 during the lead-up to the Amerikan invasion of Iraq and delivered an unrehearsed declaration against George W. Bush and his outlaw regime. His speech at the North Park Blocks inspired about a dozen other people to also stand up and offer their say on the coming madness.

During the first edition of the Bush clan’s vice grip on America, Lawrence J. Maushard delivered the following address at high noon, April 13, 1991 on the teeming streets of Boston, the Allston district. Rarely has New England or the rest of the nation witnessed such a passionate denunciation of the political and social norms of the day.
