LOU*LOU for President

A Life Member of Intertel, Lou Carter Keay has been Regional Director of Region 4, which encompasses California, Nevada, Arizona and Hawaii. She has also served as Secretary pro Tem on the Intertel Executive Board, and has actively organized and conducted an AGA in Las Vegas for Region 4, assisted in organizing the AGA in Austin, TX for Region 8, and conducted the first AGA-at-Sea on behalf of Region 6. In her monthly regional newsletter she coined the slogan "Each One Reach One".

Upon retirement she renewed her acting profession. Her professional name is LOU*LOU. She is represented by Avalon Artists' Group on both coasts.

She has crewed on sail boats down the Pacific coast to Cabo San Lucas in Baja, and in a cabin cruiser on the canals and waterways in the Benelux Countries. She has piloted a glider over the Reagan Ranch and Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch in the San Isidro Valley. She has flown in helicopters over a volcano in Hawaii, and Victoria Falls in Africa. She has videos of these adventures.

Her next adventure will be serving Intertel as President. As President she will strive to increase membership, keep members informed at all times, encourage more and better newsletters in each Region, and help with activities and events that will bring members closer together.

To establish Intertel as the prestigious society for the intellectually gifted that it is, and to make it known internationally, to encourage members to proudly increase membership in their regions, and to develop more programs to help others, including the ongoing scholarship program, are some of the "bullet points" in her campaign for election.

"What people aren't up on they're usually down on" is a well-known public relations slogan. One purpose will be to allow members to be informed at all times as to what is going on behind-the-scenes as well as out front in their organization.
