I read your piece on Shakespeare with interest. I'm very fond of his plays, and plan to give classes on two that will be produced here in the spring: "Cymbeline" and "Richard III". I was puzzled, though, at why you repeatedly said it had been six centuries since Shakespeare lived. I'm guessing that "six" got stuck in your head from thinking about the l6th century. It's always nerve-racking for me to get an issue of my publication in print, for worrying that I will find out when it is too late that I made a terrible typo or factual error.
