Is the Bible holy because you read it, or do you read the Bible because it's holy?
I think this is an excellent question for all Christians. The logic isn't mine - I borrowed it from Plato's dialogue Euthyphro, although, of course, Plato was speaking of piety in the dialogue.
If you included it in "Port of Call" maybe it would elicit a response from some Ilians so disposed.
