Camp Parsons 2006
Troop 24 Summer Camp
It's almost time for camp! There are just a few details remaining. Permission forms were passed out at the Eagle Court of Honor. If you weren't there, medical permission forms for camp are below and have also been mailed. Make sure your boy brings his with him when we depart for camp. OR you can leave it at Barkhurst's house before that. The address is at the top of the permission form.
Additional information, including directions to camp and a map of camp itself can be found below or at the Camp Parsons web site.
We leave for camp from the Warner Pacific College parking lot on Sunday, July 2, at 8:00 am. Boys should be in “Class A” uniform.
Each boy should bring a sack lunch for the trip to camp.
Spending money for camp:
- The camp recommends $35 or more depending on whether they take part in activities that have additional fees. They figure that out of that money, the boy is going to want to buy a camp T-shirt. HOWEVER, Troop 24 purchases camp T-shirts for each of the boys, so they don't actually need that much.
- Spending money should be in one dollar bills, in a sealed envelope with the boy's name on it. One of the adults with the troop will act as banker to keep the money secure and to hand it out to the boy as needed for supplies and a certain amount per day for “stuff” at the camp store.
- There should be some extra money in the envelope to get a snack on the way home after camp.
