Hasselblad 500CM

Several years ago I bought a fabulous Hasselblad 500CM kit with 80mm and 150mm lenses. I paid top dollar for it. It was in mint condition. It was lovely to hold. It was lovely to use. It felt great to use. Until it broke. It broke 4 times in 6 months. I was very upset, sold the 'blad, and bought a Mamiya RZ system for a fraction of the cost of the 'blad. And the RZ has proven to be utterly reliable through several years of use.

The faults of my Hasselblad haven't stopped me from considering buying another system. I can't help myself. They feel great. And the Mamiya RZ is quite large in the hand. This is all silliness. Trust me. But here are a few images from my short and bittersweet time with a Hasselblad.
