The Study

The study has brown bookshelves, a desk with a very tall, unusual-looking mechanical device towering on it, comfortable chairs, and a window in the west wall to let the afternoon sun in. Many of the shelves, especially those along the north wall, have white tags hanging from them. Along the south wall, many of the shelves have statuettes, toys or other things, rather than books.

There are some more knickknacks on the windowsill, including five balls hanging in a row inside a wire-frame cube. Leaning up against the wall near the window is a large full-color poster on a foam-core backing.

The east wall has a door in it, cracked open to show a sliver of the long hallway outside.
